Babe, I just wanted to let you know how absolutely stupendously scrumdidilyumptious you are!!!
I love that our kids have an amazing father to look up to- literally and through your example-

As my olive branch was extended towards me I was blessed with two gifts.

The olive tree is a symbol of fruitfulness, beauty, and dignity. For that reason alone I chose to name my blessings after the offer of peace that they are.

As I watched Olivia smile in the sun today I was reminded just how close we are to perfection. She is what I strive to be, she glows with innocence and love. I then quickly looked for Oliver who is never too far from his partner in crime. They are beautiful and lovely on their own but together their unique quirks and personalities are that much more lovely.

I couldn't help but think of how blessed I am to have found Todd, I truly am better with him and hopefully he feels the same!!!

Rainbow Rocket Running Shoes

Laying there and then...

Rylie: TY these are my rainbow rocket running shoes!

Ty: NO! Rylie those are not rainbow rocket running shoes! There are no such things as rainbow rocket running shoes.

Rylie: Yes there are Ty!

Ty: Not in the real world!

Time for adult intervention, in comes Todd...

Todd: Ty you know when you play sharks and cougars?

Ty: Yes

Todd: Well that is what Rylie is doing with her rainbow rocket running shoes, she is playing pretend.

Ty: No actually in the real world there are sharks and cougars, so I can play them. There are no rainbow rocket running shoes in the real world!

Time for me...

Chelsea: Ty, Nasa has rainbow rocket running shoes!

Ty: OK I want to buy some.

Chelsea: When you are older you can buy them, lets go eat breakfast.

I want my older two munchkins to know how much I love them and appreciate them in all their uniqueness. Ty's stubborn intelligent, must have the last word way of communicating and Rylie's ability to say good night to the fairies and wear her rainbow rocket running shoes while she kisses her pink beluga goodnight! I cant wait until all 4 are having morning debates on the likelihood of Rainbow Rocket Running Shoes!

ps- this intense one of a kind debate/ discussion took place in the bathroom while Ty and Rylie were taking turns having their morning piddle- in the lou of course!

The Reisinger's in Review

It has been a while since I plunked my painted chunky "Strawberry Margartia" fingers on the keys to record my little world. But here I am trying to balance too many things, not returning phone calls, avoiding laundry like it is a plague, and enjoying life! Between work, swimming, soccer, ballet, jazz and wifery we celebrated a wonderful Easter.

Coordinating: The joy of making all my children match, this is typically performed on a Sunday and any other time I want to make us appear overly put together.
