Goin through the big "D"

Goin through the big "D" and don't mean Dallas, I can't believe what the judge had to tell us!!... I can't remember who sings that song but I found it playing over and over in my head while I sat in Courtroom 208 in the Supreme Court of Nanaimo. I Chelsea Dawn am officially divorced!! I have been going through an erruption of emotions all day sad, mad, elated, angry, happy, confused. At the end of it all I finally have peace. We have been in a courtroom battle since our separation two years ago, set aside the "brief encounter, producing twins"-as my lawyer put it!! All in all I have my children, and my hair, which on many different occasions could have been pulled out! So if any of you know any good looking millionaires send them my way!! Just kidding, I am loving my happy peacefull home with just me and the kids and I am looking forward to the next stage of my life...Hint-Hint:
I will be returning to work at my Salon in November, but I will e going back to school. I am going to be a Lawyer! I have always known and wanted to finish my education but I couldn't pinpoint a career, and by witnessing the Canadian Justice System over these past two years I have seen the ins and outs and I want to be a part of it!

The following pictures are some happy, peacefull shots of Ty and Rylie!!

Chelsea, I am so happy you're finally at peace. What a mess! I'm so proud of you for following your dream and going back to school! You are an amazing person and will do well, I know it.

Good for you! I am so glad that is behind you and you can start a fresh new chapter in your life. Speaking of chapters I should probably explain your package. I forgot to send the card that went with it. The first book is my mom's. I thought you might enjoy it. Reading your blog has reminded me so many times of my mom's writing style. You both have a way of using your sense of humor to lighten up things up when times are tough.
The second one is something I saw at the book store and it totally cracked me up. I thought you might appreciate it. I might need it back in a few years after I have been up all night with a crying baby;) I hope your doing well! Thanks for posting the cute pictures of your kids. Hopeful I will be up there soon to see little Cash!

Wow!!! Congrats!!! It was about time! There is a saying in Spanish ( they never make too much sense when I translate them) that goes like this: Better alone, than in bad company!...hahah
So enjoy your time alone!!
I'm so happy for you!

Wow, Chels. That's gotta be really tough. I bet your humor helps you get through that though. I love that song by the way... and didn't realize what "the Big D" was for quite a while. What can I say? It's catchy.
Yes, your kids ARE adorable! I know everyone tells you that, but it's true!!! And there's not a mother in the world that could hear that too many times.
